About Us
Founded in London in 2011 by Hubert Moineau, a former French intelligence officer, who has over seventeen years of business experience in hostile environments. +Mitigate, specializes in risk and intelligence, it services an array of high-profile global clients including, international businesses, financial services companies, law firms and high-value individuals who operate around the world. The team is made up of former intelligence officers, military personnel, journalists, diplomats, bankers and IT security experts.
Based in Valletta, Malta, +Mitigate Maritime is dedicated to maritime security and anti-piracy operations, whether protecting commercial vessels or private superyachts. We operate in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden and along the East coast of Africa, as well as the Gulf of Guinea and Southeast Asia.
Our team at +Mitigate Maritime has extensive military experience with a minimum of seven years and up to twenty-five years. They are trained to follow strict due process in respect of international law and human rights. We operate in full compliance with the Maltese Laws and the United Nations’ IMO guidelines.
